On Thursday, January 23rd at 6:00 pm, The Alabama Family Rights Association
(ALFRA) will host a monthly member and guest meeting at the Hoover Public
Library in the Lower Level Conference Room A and B, 200 Municipal Dr.,
Hoover Alabama 35216.

Guest speaker: Ms. Bethany Roden, MS, ALC and MCC with the Family Guidance
Center of Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama

The topics this month are:

* How to stay mentally fit during the existing Alabama Family Law
and Practices.

* What resources are available for children, parents, and extended
family members in the existing custody environment?

* Will the legislators pass the Custody bill during the 2014
legislative session?

* How to effectively communicate with your elected officials to
reform Alabama Family Law.

This is an opportunity to learn how to share your experiences with Alabama
lawmakers to encourage Family Law Reform. We would like to invite those
impacted to participate so that decision makers hear real stories of real
situations to make informed and fact-based decisions toward improving the
system for our children. Come to the meeting to learn what you can do to
take action for change. Our children deserve to thrive and they will do so
best with both of their fit parents in their lives. The Alabama Family
Rights Association (ALFRA) believes that Healthy Children promote a Healthy
Economy!
